Rosewood Doha debuts Emerald Nights by Bentley, marking its first Ramadan with a landmark partnership

Marking the property’s first Ramadan, this experience united Rosewood Doha and Bentley in an elegant open-air setting shaped by design, ritual, and gathering.

Rosewood Doha presents Emerald Nights by Bentley, an open-air Ramadan experience created in partnership with the renowned automotive brand. Set on the property’s lawn with views across the Lusail promenade, Emerald nights marks both Rosewood Doha’s first Ramadan season and Bentley’s first Ramadan collaboration in Qatar.

The setting reflects a deliberate design approach. Deep emerald tones, tailored seating, and architectural lighting establish a strong visual identity while preserving openness across the lawn. The spatial layout balances scale with exclusivity, allowing the experience to transition naturally from sunset into the later hours of the evening.

The partnership unites two brands recognized for heritage and forward vision. Drawing from Bentley’s design philosophy, the collaboration reflects a shared dedication to purposeful experience with a layout designed to support both gathering and privacy.

“Ramadan is a time that invites reflection, togetherness, and a deeper appreciation for meaningful moments. At Bentley Doha, we value experiences that bring people closer in an atmosphere of authenticity and refinement. Our partnership with Rosewood Doha for Emerald Nights reflects a shared vision — to create a setting where thoughtful design, warm hospitality, and the spirit of the season come together effortlessly. We are honored to be part of an experience that celebrates tradition while offering our guests something truly extraordinary.”

SAHER BAAJ, GENERAL MANAGER, BENTLEY QATAR

Guests gather for iftar at sunset before the experience shifts seamlessly into suhoor, accompanied by live entertainment throughout the night. For those seeking greater privacy, Emerald Nights introduces a tiered seating concept designed to accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger groups.

An elevated seating area presents a unique perspective of the setting, with sofas arranged throughout. A limited collection of private cabanas provides a more secluded environment, each accommodating up to seven guests and complemented by a premium appetizer selection served at the table.

“Emerald Nights marks a defining chapter for Rosewood Doha as we introduce our first Ramadan program. Partnering with Bentley enables us to deliver an experience that resonates with today’s guests while reinforcing Rosewood Doha’s role within the region’s luxury lifestyle landscape.”

IBRAHIM MAIRECH, DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING, ROSEWOOD DOHA

The culinary experience is shaped by a thoughtfully curated buffet that favors intention over abundance. The offering brings together signatures from across the property, including Michelin-recommended Koo Madame, Bib Gourmand recipient Mila, and Stoke & Stoker, underscoring Rosewood Doha’s commitment to culinary distinction.

Available throughout Ramadan, Emerald Nights serves iftar from sunset to 8:00 p.m., followed by suhoor from 9:00 p.m., with extended hours on weekends. Iftar is priced at QAR 425 per guest, while suhoor is offered at QAR 485 per guest. Elevated seating is available at QAR 500 per guest for iftar and QAR 550 per guest for suhoor. Private cabanas are offered with a minimum spend of QAR 4,000.

Emerald Night anchors Rosewood Doha’s broader Ramadan program, which includes curated iftar set menus at Mila and a seasonal collection of Arabic sweets and signature creations from Butterfly Patisserie.

Doha Festival City Awarded ‘Diamond Level’ GCC Health-Promoting Shopping Mall Accreditation

0

Doha Festival City, Qatar’s destination of coveted trends, has been awarded the Health-Promoting Shopping Mall Project accreditation “Muazzaz”, a GCC-level recognition led by the Gulf Health Council and implemented nationally by Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

The accreditation was presented during a Gulf Health Council ceremony held on 11 February 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking an important milestone for Doha Festival City following one of the most comprehensive public health assessments conducted for a shopping destination in Qatar. Doha Festival City achieved the ‘Diamond Level’ classification, the highest tier within the GCC Health-Promoting Shopping Mall categories.

The MoPH-led evaluation assessed the mall against defined regional standards covering health promotion, environmental quality, safety, hygiene, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement. Doha Festival City successfully completed a multi-stage assessment process, including detailed indoor air quality monitoring, water sampling and analysis, HVAC inspections, hygiene audits, waste management reviews, and preventive maintenance assessments.

A final on-site inspection was conducted in collaboration with GCC public health representatives, with all criteria evaluated using official technical frameworks. The accreditation is valid for three years, reflecting sustained excellence in health and wellbeing standards.

The recognition reflects Doha Festival City’s sustained investment in creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible environment for visitors, tenants, and employees, while supporting national health objectives and broader sustainability goals in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Commenting on the milestone, Hayssam Hajjar, Executive Director – Malls, Al-Futtaim Real Estate, said: “Our commitment to becoming a fully certified Health-Promoting Shopping Mall reflects years of dedicated work across all domains of public wellbeing. We are proud to lead this transformation in the region and to set new benchmarks for what a truly healthy public space can be.”

The milestone represents years of sustained effort across all six domains of the Health-Promoting Shopping Mall Project. Doha Festival City has embedded health and wellbeing into its daily operations by encouraging active lifestyles, maintaining high indoor environmental quality, ensuring robust safety and security coverage, supporting national health awareness campaigns,

advancing recycling and sustainability initiatives, and delivering inclusive facilities for families, women, and people of all ages.

The accreditation reinforces Doha Festival City’s role as a destination that integrates sustainability, health, and community wellbeing into its everyday operations, contributing to healthier public spaces and more resilient urban communities in Qatar and across the GCC.

The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar Returns to Porto Arabia and Qanat Quartier with a Curated Retail, Community and CSR Experience

United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands, has announced the launch of the fourth edition of The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar, taking place throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan along the waterfront at Porto Arabia (1 to 5 La Croisette) and Qanat Quartier. The Bazaar is proudly sponsored by Ooredoo as the Official Telecommunications Sponsor.

Beautifully illuminated and adorned with Ramadan décor, The Pearl Island is fully prepared to welcome the Holy Month, offering residents and visitors a festive ambiance that blends tradition with contemporary waterfront living.

Held as part of UDC’s comprehensive Ramadan programme, the Bazaar celebrates the spirit of the Holy Month while fostering meaningful community connections. Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s Bazaar continues to serve as a vibrant platform that integrates spirituality, retail, and family-oriented experiences within a distinctive destination setting.

The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar will feature more than 40 participating brands, offering a diverse selection of products including spices, dates, honey, skincare products, abayas, fashion, accessories, and jewelry. The curated retail experience supports local businesses and entrepreneurs while catering to the varied interests of residents and visitors.

The Bazaar will welcome visitors daily from 8:00 PM to 12:00 midnight, with extended operating hours until 1:00 AM on weekends. Weekends will feature family-friendly experiences across both Porto Arabia and Qanat Quartier, including children’s workshops and traditional Hakawati storytelling sessions.

The Bazaar will also host a special Garangao celebration on the 14th of Ramadan, honoring one of Qatar’s most cherished traditions. The festive evening will feature children’s activities and cultural elements that reflect the spirit of this heritage occasion, further enriching the Ramadan experience for families.

Enhancing the spiritual ambiance throughout the Holy Month and completing the integrated Ramadan experience, daily Taraweeh prayers will be held at The Pearl’s Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani Mosque, in addition to the mosques at Isola Dana and Fanar Fayrouz.

As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, UDC has allocated a complimentary café space within the Bazaar to “Shai Al Jalsah,” a Qatari café concept fully operated by individuals with hearing and speech disabilities, including both the brand owners and the entire team. This initiative aims to empower this segment of the community by providing a genuine platform to showcase their capabilities, representing a practical and sustainable model of social inclusion. The café offers a curated menu of beverages prepared daily, particularly known for its karak tea, traditional tea, and hibiscus, alongside the meaningful social message at the heart of the project.

In addition to the Bazaar at The Pearl Island, UDC has planned additional community and entertainment activities on Gewan Island, to further enrich the Ramadan atmosphere across its master developments.

The launch of the fourth edition of The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar underscores UDC’s dedication to its community role and its continued efforts to deliver initiatives that integrate cultural, social, and commercial dimensions. Through this platform, UDC reinforces social cohesion, supports meaningful causes, and preserves the authentic values of the Holy Month of Ramadan while enhancing the overall destination experience.
