Wednesday 27 May (Eid Day 1): Eid prayers in the morning. Pearl celebrations continue. Jamal Jamal Play opens at QNCC. Good day for family lunches, mall trips, or museums after the morning slows down.

Thursday 28 May (Eid Day 2): Torba Market on the Bridge opens at Qanat Quartier from 5 PM. Sugar Daddy play opens at Abdul Aziz Nasser Theatre. Pearl celebrations going strong. Best evening plan: Torba then dinner at QQ.

Friday 29 May (Eid Day 3): Lucky Ali Live at QNCC, gates 5 PM. Sneaker Con Doha opens at DECC. Torba Market night two. The busiest, biggest day of the holiday for events.

Saturday 30 May (Final day): Last day of Pearl celebrations. Final Torba Market night. Last day of Fontana Circus. Sneaker Con continues. The closing day to squeeze the most out of the holiday.

Practical Tips For Eid Al Adha In Doha

A few things worth knowing before the holiday hits.

Plan for delayed mall openings on Eid Day 1. Most malls open around 2 PM on the first day of Eid, then run 10 AM to 12 AM or 1 AM through the rest of the holiday.

Eid prayers are around sunrise. Expect prayer times between 5:15 and 5:45 AM in late May. Check your local mosque for exact timings.

Book tickets early. Lucky Ali, Sneaker Con VIP, and Fontana Circus prime seats sell out fast during Eid windows.

Bring cash for markets and small vendors. Torba Market, Souq Waqif stalls, and most independent vendors prefer cash or Fawran.

Pearl parking fills up fast. If you are heading to The Pearl for the celebrations or Torba Market, get there before 6 PM or budget extra time for parking.

Weather is manageable in the evening. Daytime hits 38 to 42 degrees Celsius, but evenings drop to 32 to 35, which is fine for outdoor markets and walks after sunset.

The whole city slows down on Arafah Day. Tuesday 26 May is a quiet, reflective day. Most public events properly kick off from Wednesday onwards.

So What Should You Actually Do This Eid?

Five days is enough time to do all of it. A morning prayer, a beach day, a desert overnight, an evening market, a concert night, a mall trip with the kids, and one slow day at Aspire Park doing nothing.

The point of Eid Al Adha is community, family, and gratitude. Whether you spend yours quiet at home or out at every event listed here, Qatar is set up to make it one of the best long weekends of the year.

Eid Mubarak from everyone at People & Qatar.
