There is a lot more than fireworks happening at Katara this year. You can watch the Qatari Ardah traditional dance from 4 PM onwards, catch the Military Parade at 5:40 PM or 6:40 PM, and take the kids to the Al-Thuraya Planetarium at Building 41 between 5 PM and 7 PM. The Eidiya gift distribution for children runs at 5:30 PM and again at 8:00 PM. A genuinely full evening for the whole family, all in one place.
Al Wakrah Old Souq : Al Wakrah Old Souq has become one of the most loved family spots during Eid, with fireworks along the waterfront running for four consecutive days.
Doha Corniche : A classic spot for watching Eid fireworks with a wide, open waterfront view across the bay.
The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Island : These areas have hosted free Eid entertainment and fireworks as part of larger holiday programming in recent years.
The Pearl and Gewan Island are pulling out the full Eid programme this year, free for everyone, family-friendly, and built to keep all age groups busy.
What to expect: kids activities including arts and crafts, face painting, and interactive games. Live stage shows running across the five days featuring magic, bubble, and circus performances. Plus roaming entertainment with mascots wandering the promenades.
