This year, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha proudly marks a milestone 25th Festive Season, celebrating a quarter of a century of holiday magic since opening in October 2001. Under the theme ‘25 Years of Iconic Celebrations’, the hotel unveils an inviting program of dining, family experiences, and glamorous events, continuing its legacy as Qatar’s favored destination for timeless traditions and elevated occasions.

Highly revered as a dining destination with glamorous socializing at its heart, a crafted selection of signature brunches and dinners brings family and friends together to revel in the joy of the season. Taking place on 24 December 2025, Sel & Miel’s Festive Dinner is set to bring Parisian chic to the guests. Beautifully decorated to reflect the season, the restaurant will serve a specially crafted five-course menu accompanied by the melodies of live French music.

On 25 December 2025, Asian fusion fare hotspot, B-Lounge Doha, vibrant steakhouse, STK Doha and Lagoon Restaurant will each host their custom version of a Festive Brunch. All offering delicious choices for every age, guests can select to dine Marina-side at B-Lounge, or on STK’s 23rd-floor. Lagoon, with its attractive garden, is the destination to gather with loved ones and enjoy a magnificent feast, served with all the yuletide delights imaginable. From 28 to 30 November 2025, LIC will welcome fans for a weekend that blends world class racing, family entertainment, culture, and innovation, creating a festival atmosphere that celebrates both Qatar’s spirit and the thrill of Formula 1®.

A Weekend of Racing and Entertainment
 The 2025 edition promises non-stop on track action with the Formula 1® Sprint Race, FIA Formula 2™ Championship, and Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East. Off the track, the excitement continues with performances by global icons like Seal on Family Friday and Metallica headlining Race Day Sunday.

A Reimagined Fan Zone Experience
 At the heart of the event, the Fan Zone will feature a dynamic lineup of experiences designed to delight visitors of all ages. From immersive activities to educational installations and family entertainment, every corner of the Fan Zone offers something new to discover.

Highlights include:

  • LEGO® “Build The Thrill” Experience: Making its Middle East debut, LEGO® brings its celebrated Formula 1® activation to Qatar as part of the Project Alicia global tour. Family Friday and Sprint Saturday
 Friday, 28 November offers a full day of fun for all ages, featuring the LEGO® activation, children’s zones, and Seal’s live performance in the evening. General Admission ticket holders can bring up to four children under 12 for free, making it the perfect family day out.

Saturday, 29 November showcases high speed competition with the Formula 1® Sprint Race, FIA Formula 2, and Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, alongside continued entertainment and fan activities across the venue.

Countdown Begins: Qatar Boat Show 2025 Ready to Light Up Old Doha Port

The stage is set for the second edition of Qatar Boat Show 2025, returning to Old Doha Port from November 5 to 8, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. This year’s edition will take the experience to new heights, bringing together the world’s leading yacht builders, luxury brands, and maritime innovators in a spectacular celebration of craftsmanship, culture, and creativity.

Following its record-breaking debut, the 2025 edition will feature a stronger international presence with prominent SYBAss members, such as: Gulf Craft, Feadship, Benetti, Oceanco, and Heesen.  

 The show will also feature regional and world premieres, including Turkey’s AIATA and La Sera will make their regional launches, while Bahrain’s Seven Craft and Aldhaen will stage global debuts, and the UAE’s Al Shaali Marine will be making their first appearance in Qatar.

 A strong spotlight will be cast on Qatar’s own marine manufacturing sector, with showcases from Doha Craft Marine, Halul Boats, Belhambar Boats, Tornado Boats, and Zawraq Marine – the first yacht fully built in Qatar. Complementing these showcases, the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard, the country’s largest private shipyard for building and repairing boats, will unveil new models that highlight Qatar’s growing leadership in maritime innovation.

Beyond the marina, Old Doha Port’s waterfront will witness captivating live performances and experiences, including suspended musical performances, and roaming musicians bringing energy along the Mina Corniche. Maritime showcases will include live diving demonstrations at the Dive Pool Show. In addition, a dedicated zone will spotlight participating companies from the marine fishing sector, featuring interactive shows and competitions. Organized in collaboration with the Nomas Center, the activities will include live demonstrations by children and members of the center, celebrating Qatar’s rich fishing heritage

As the sun sets, fireworks and synchronized drone shows will light up the sky over Old Doha Port. Visitors can enjoy more than 20 global and local F&B outlets, such as floating cafés from Earth and Qinwan, and Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, and explore the “Oshar” art exhibition featuring maritime-inspired artworks that celebrate Qatar’s seafaring heritage, featuring a select group of artists and fine painters.
