The issuance of the card comes in fulfillment of several organizational and educational objectives, most notably ensuring dealings with licensed teachers who meet the approved professional and academic requirements, enhancing the confidence of parents and students in tutoring services, reducing irregular practices and random lessons offered outside the legal framework, in addition to enabling regulatory bodies to quickly verify the legal status of tutoring teachers .

“ The issuance of the identification card for licensing teachers of tutoring centers comes as a complement to previous stages that were carried out through verifying the academic qualifications, experiences, personal residency and work contracts of the teachers, in order to ensure that they work in tutoring centers correctly, and conducting personal interviews for the teachers, where a number of (272) teachers were interviewed and only (182) teachers from various specializations were granted, and a one-month grace period was given to each center to correct the situation of the rest of the teachers in order to grant them a teacher license in the center, in order to ensure the quality of educational services provided to students and to gain the trust of parents when dealing with the teachers of tutoring centers .”

This charity bike ride unites various Marriott International properties in Doha to support the  Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, empowering children globally through education. This  initiative calls upon participants to join forces for the more significant cause of global education. 

The ‘Ride for Education’ showcases the unwavering commitment of Marriott Business Councils  Qatar to making a tangible difference in the lives of underprivileged children. As a part of the  Road to Awareness initiative, `Ride for Education` reflects Marriott’s dedication to creating a  positive impact in local communities, striving to provide a brighter future for those in need. 

This transformative charity cycling event offers hope and amplifies the voices of those who most  need it. The funds raised during this event will significantly contribute to the Education Above All  (EAA) Foundation, supporting its mission to ensure quality education for children globally. 

Ride for Education 2026

For those interested in participating in the ‘Ride for Education,’tickets can be conveniently purchased online via Snoonu City. Ticket options come in three tiers: Silver at QAR 100, including an event jersey; Gold at QAR 150, including an event jersey and raffle tickets; and  Platinum at QAR 200, which provides an event jersey, raffle tickets, and a bicycle. The event  starts at 7am on January 10th at Sheraton Grand Doha, with registration beginning at 6:00 am. It’s  an opportunity to support global education efforts while enjoying a fulfilling cycling experience. We also have an open donation any amount starting at QAR 10.
