Summer is officially here in Doha and the calendar is proving it. This week alone has Sneaker Con, a Rachmaninoff concerto at Katara, a new outdoor beach activation for kids, a luxury outlet sale, a Kuwaiti comedy play, an underground art show, and The Greatest Show wrapping up at Doha Quest.

1. Sneaker Con Doha at DECC

Sneaker Con Doha

Doha gets its first-ever Sneaker Con this weekend, and it’s a three-day takeover at Hall 1 of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Spread across 7,000 square metres, the event features a live marketplace to buy, sell, and trade rare sneakers and streetwear, plus seven dedicated zones including a Skater Park, Basketball Court, Kids Zone, DJ Booth, Graffiti Roaming activations, and a Main Stage. Red Bull is the official entertainment partner and M7 is the official partner. General entry is free. If you want priority access and a personal shopper, the VIP Experience is QAR 500 for two.

2. The Greatest Show at Doha Quest

Eid Al Adha entertainment is still going strong at Doha Quest this week. The Greatest Show features spectacular live performances, acrobatics, and nonstop family entertainment inside Doha Oasis, included with your Quest admission ticket. Showtimes are 3:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 8:30 PM daily.

3. Summer Splash at Meryal Waterpark Beach

PAW Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants have arrived in Doha for the whole of June, and this is the launch week. Summer Splash transforms Meryal Beach at Rixos Qetaifan Island North into a Nickelodeon-themed outdoor experience with daily character meet-and-greets, live stage shows, beach games, AR trampolines, food trolleys, and air-conditioned indoor zones for the littlest visitors.

General entry is free from 6:00 PM. Rixos hotel guests and Meryal Waterpark ticket holders get exclusive priority access from 4:00 PM.

4. Qatar Outlet Exhibition at DECC

The 5th edition of Qatar’s biggest outlet shopping festival opens this week. Over 100 luxury and premium brands across 12 categories including fashion, beauty, fragrances, jewellery, watches, eyewear, accessories, and home decor, all at outlet prices. If you’re doing Eid Al Adha shopping or just want designer goods without the full price tag, this is the one.

5. QPO: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 at Katara

This is one of those performances you’ll talk about for years. The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, under conductor Elias Grandy, welcomes James Zijian Wei, winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition, for what is widely considered the most technically demanding piano concerto ever written. After the interval, the programme shifts to Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen Suite for contrast. All tickets must be purchased online in advance.

6. Sugar Daddy Theatrical Play at Souq Waqif

Sugar Daddy Kuwaiti Comedy Play

For Arabic-speaking audiences looking for a proper laugh, the Kuwaiti comedy Sugar Daddy lands at Abdul Aziz Nasser Theatre for an extended run through early June.

7. ASTROWORLD VOL.001 at Astro Automotive Services

One of Doha’s more under-the-radar events right now. ASTROWORLD VOL.001 is a curated art and culture exhibition running across a full month at Astro Automotive Services in Al Bidda. Think street culture, visual art, and community programming in a genuinely unexpected venue. Worth checking out if you like discovering creative spaces that don’t fit the usual mould.

8. Tuesday Running Program at Mina Park

Fit Island Qatar’s three-month structured running program continues every Tuesday evening at Mina Park’s waterfront. Built around pacing, consistency, and personal goals. Come for the run, stay for the sunset.
