The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is offering free Arabic courses online through its website and the Takalam mobile app, designed for beginners to intermediate learners. The program allows students to develop practical skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening Arabic at their own pace, whether in Qatar or abroad.
The Takalam platform provides a structured curriculum across seven levels, with each level featuring 20 lessons that combine tutoring videos and interactive exercises to reinforce vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and writing. Lessons can be streamed online or downloaded for offline study, making it easy to learn anytime, anywhere.
In addition to online learning, the ministry also organizes free in-person Arabic courses for non-Arabic speakers, including regular and intensive options. Schedules and announcements are shared through the ministry’s official website and social media channels.
This initiative is part of Qatar’s ongoing efforts to promote Arabic language learning and cultural understanding, providing accessible education to residents, visitors, and professionals alike.
