Qatar Airways has won four major titles at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026 and retained its prestigious 5-Star Airline rating, adding another major milestone to its global aviation record.
The airline was recognised for World’s Best Business Class, Best Airline in the Middle East, World’s Best Business Class Lounge and World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi.

Here are the four awards Qatar Airways took home in 2026:
- World’s Best Business Class for the 13th time
- Best Airline in the Middle East for the 14th time
- World’s Best Business Class Lounge for the 8th time
- World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi, an inaugural award introduced by Skytrax in 2026
Qatar Airways also ranked No. 2 among the world’s top airlines for 2026, behind Singapore Airlines, according to the Skytrax global ranking.
Qatar Airways Wins World’s Best Business Class Again
Qatar Airways retained the World’s Best Business Class title, with its Qsuite product continuing to be a major part of its premium offering.
Skytrax also recognised the airline’s Qsuite as the World’s Best Business Class Seat, while the Al Mourjan Business Lounge The Garden at Hamad International Airport won the world’s best business class airline lounge award.
Qatar Airways Wins World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi
One of the biggest new wins is the World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi 2026 award.
Qatar Airways became the first airline to receive the newly introduced Skytrax award, which recognises the growing importance of fast onboard connectivity for passengers.
The airline says more than 25 million passengers have stayed connected across more than 96,000 Qatar Airways flights through its Starlink-equipped widebody fleet.
Qatar Airways Keeps Its 5-Star Rating
Alongside its four awards, Qatar Airways retained its Skytrax 5-Star Airline rating.
The airline’s latest recognition comes as Qatar Airways prepares to mark its 30th anniversary in 2027.
