Driving without a licence in Qatar can cost up to QR50,000 and three years in jail

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has highlighted the risks of driving without a valid Qatari licence. Offenders face imprisonment of 1 month to 3 years and fines up to QR50,000.

Those with a valid licence can present it digitally via Metrash during inspections. The warning is part of ongoing efforts to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic.
