Qatar Charity Winter Heroes 2026: QR 120 Million Campaign
Qatar Charity has launched its Winter Heroes 2026 campaign, aiming to raise QR 120 million to help families facing harsh winter conditions and financial hardship. The Qatar winter relief campaign will support vulnerable communities in 11 countries and provide assistance to low-income families, orphans and workers in Qatar.
What Is Qatar Charity’s Winter Heroes Campaign?
Launched in October, the Winter Heroes campaign aims to deliver help before winter temperatures become more severe. The funds will support international winter relief, humanitarian projects and social welfare programmes in Qatar.
Qatar Charity aims to raise QR 70 million for international assistance and more than QR 50 million for projects inside Qatar.
Which Countries Will Receive Winter Relief?
The campaign will support people in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Kosovo.
Aid will include blankets, warm clothing, heaters, heating fuel, tents, food supplies and cooking stoves to help families manage cold weather.
How Will the Campaign Help People in Qatar?
Around 23,000 people in Qatar are expected to benefit from the campaign. Support will include:
- Food parcels and winter kits for low-income families.
- Winter clothing for orphans and sponsored beneficiaries.
- Medical treatment and health awareness programmes for workers.
- Assistance for people with kidney failure and medical insurance for orphans.
- Emergency support for people facing illness or loss of income.
