Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye Condemn Israeli Violations in Gaza
Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye have issued a joint statement strongly condemning ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, particularly attacks targeting healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure that have resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children.
The three mediators called on Israel to comply with international law and uphold its commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, warning that continued violations could undermine efforts to implement the agreement’s second phase.
They also called for the protection of civilians, medical facilities and humanitarian workers, along with the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid and medical supplies across Gaza.
The mediators urged the international community to pressure Israel to fulfil its obligations and prevent further escalation, stressing the need to protect efforts towards a permanent ceasefire and an end to humanitarian suffering in Gaza.
