Qatar Resumes Maritime Activities for All Boats and Ships
Boat owners, fishermen, jet ski users, and maritime operators in Qatar can now return to the water after the Ministry of Transport (MOT) officially announced that maritime navigation activities have resumed for all types of maritime vessels and ships.
The update comes after the temporary suspension that was introduced as a precautionary safety measure.
Maritime Activities Resume Across Qatar
According to the Ministry of Transport, all maritime navigation activities can now resume with immediate effect.
The ministry has urged everyone using boats, ships, fishing vessels, leisure boats, jet skis, and other marine craft to continue following all maritime regulations and safety instructions currently in force.
Safety Still Comes First
While navigation has resumed, the MOT reminded all vessel owners and operators to ensure that every trip complies with Qatar’s maritime safety requirements.
Before setting sail, operators should make sure all required safety and security equipment is available and functioning properly onboard.
The ministry said these measures are essential to maintain the highest levels of safety and security during every journey.
