If you are taking the metro, get off at Legtaifiya station on the Gold line and grab a quick taxi from there. The Pearl is just across the highway.

The original Torba Market at Education City is the proper farmers market most of us know and love. It runs from November to April every year. Local farms, fresh produce, wonky veg, Torba Junior, the works. That season is closed for the summer now.

Torba on the Bridge is something else entirely. It is a summer pop-up, smaller in size, evening only, and there are no farms here. When a follower asked Torba directly on Instagram whether veggies would be available, the answer was clear: only at Torba Store, the farms are not part of this pop-up.

The market is small in size, and Torba is expecting it to get busy, which can be unsettling for both pets and other attendees. So if your dog is the anxious type or does not love crowds, leave them at home. If they are chill and happy on a leash in busy areas, bring them along.

Practical Tips Before You Go

A few things that will save you a hassle once you are there.

Bring cash or Fawran. Most independent vendors at Torba accept these payment methods and not much else. Card is hit or miss. If you are a tourist without Fawran access, just bring riyals.

Plan for the weather. Late May evenings in Doha sit around 32 to 35 degrees Celsius. It is hot but completely manageable after sunset, which falls around 6:25 PM. You will be comfortable in light clothing once the sun drops.

Time it for golden hour. Arrive around 5:45 to 6 PM if you want photos. The pastel buildings catch the light beautifully right before sunset, and the canal lights come on after dark.

Come hungry. Between Pure Eats, Bagel Break, Torba Crepe, Torba Kitchen, and the home food makers, this is more of an eating market than a shopping market.
