Old Doha Port recorded more than 7 million visitors in 2025, marking a landmark year for tourism performance and maritime operations, according to figures released by the port authority.

The Port achieved a 97 percent occupancy rate and saw strong growth in maritime tourism, welcoming 87 cruise ships and over 396,000 passengers during the 2024โ€“2025 season, reinforcing its position as Qatarโ€™s primary maritime gateway.

Key developments during the year included the launch of the Minakom maritime entry service, expansion of marina and yachting facilities, introduction of water transport services for high-traffic events, and the activation of an air-conditioned waterfront promenade in the Mina District.

Commercial activity also remained strong, with more than 60 pop-up retail outlets contributing to a vibrant visitor experience. The milestones align with Qatarโ€™s national vision to grow marine tourism and strengthen Dohaโ€™s position as a leading regional tourism destination.
