Doha is getting a new event for pet lovers. Nova Paw Festival 2026, Qatar’s first international pet festival, is coming to The Pearl Island on November 27 and 28 with dog shows, cat competitions, fashion shows, grooming, adoptions, family activities and more.
The two-day Nova Paw Festival Qatar 2026 will run from 2pm to 10pm on both days at Pet Park, The Pearl Island, Doha. The festival is expected to bring together pet owners, families, breeders, trainers, veterinarians and animal lovers.

The festival is sanctioned by the World Kennel Union (WKU) for dog competitions and the World Cat Federation (WCF) for cat championships.

What can you see at Nova Paw Festival?
This is more than a dog show.

Dog competitions at Nova Paw Festival
Dog lovers have three major competitions to watch or enter.
Dog Fashion Show: QAR 100 entry fee, with a WKU Cup, rosette and certificate.
Grooming Competition: QAR 150 entry fee, with a QAR 5,000 first prize.
Best Dog Show: QAR 150 entry fee, featuring WKU-recognised judging of breed structure, temperament and presentation.
Cat competitions in Doha
The cat programme brings its own international competitions.
Best Cat Show: QAR 120 entry fee and WCF Cup, rosette and certificate.
Cat Fashion Show: QAR 100 entry fee, with 8 contestants per day.
There will also be a Cat Drawing Battle, which is free to enter and open to all ages.
Nova Paw Festival schedule
Both days feature a packed programme for dogs and cats.
Visitors can expect opening entertainment, dog shows, K9 demonstrations, Best Looking Dog, vet talks, fashion shows, agility, cat fashion, Best Cat Show, cat trivia, entertainment and closing raffles.
The main Best Cat Show is scheduled from 6:40pm to 8:40pm, while the dog programme includes a 7:15pm to 8:15pm fashion show.
Can you bring your pet?
Yes. The official ticket information says visitors can bring their dog or cat free of charge with a Single Pass. Pet owners who want their animals to compete need to register separately for the relevant championship.
