Good news for parents in Qatar. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that online registration for its Social Responsibility Project for Private Schools and Kindergartens will open on January 20, 2026.
The project offers 3,500 free and discounted seats at private schools and kindergartens and supports students until graduation.
Families of all nationalities living in Qatar can apply if they meet the income eligibility criteria.
Free seats are available for families earning up to QR 10,000 per month, while discounted seats are offered to families earning up to QR 15,000. Special free seats are reserved for students with disabilities. Qatari students can apply for educational voucher seats for families earning up to QR 25,000.
Students can enroll in British, Indian, American, and national curriculum schools.
