QatarEnergy and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) have signed an agreement to supply up to 24 LNG cargoes to Egypt during the summer of 2026, strengthening energy cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between QatarEnergy and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, aimed at expanding collaboration in the energy sector, with a key focus on LNG supply from Qatar to Egypt.
The MoU also opens the door for long-term LNG deliveries, reinforcing Qatar’s role as a reliable energy partner for Egypt during periods of peak demand.
