Old Doha Port Welcomes Over 7 Million Visitors in 2025

Old Doha Port recorded more than 7 million visitors in 2025, marking a landmark year for tourism performance and maritime operations, according to figures released by the port authority.

The Port achieved a 97 percent occupancy rate and saw strong growth in maritime tourism, welcoming 87 cruise ships and over 396,000 passengers during the 2024–2025 season, reinforcing its position as Qatar’s primary maritime gateway.

Key developments during the year included the launch of the Minakom maritime entry service, expansion of marina and yachting facilities, introduction of water transport services for high-traffic events, and the activation of an air-conditioned waterfront promenade in the Mina District.

Commercial activity also remained strong, with more than 60 pop-up retail outlets contributing to a vibrant visitor experience. The milestones align with Qatar’s national vision to grow marine tourism and strengthen Doha’s position as a leading regional tourism destination.
