Doha Festival City Unites the Community Through Pink Fest for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Join Doha Festival City for a month of awareness, wellness and community spirit
This October, Doha Festival City, Qatar’s leading retail, leisure and lifestyle destination, invites the community to go pink with Pink Fest, a programme of activities bringing people together to raise awareness, encourage early detection and support for the cause.
As part of the awareness drive, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) information booth will be located at Center Court, First Floor, from October 22 to 24, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer screening and receive assistance with booking eligible appointments.
Beyond raising awareness around the importance of early detection, visitors can also show their support by leaving a message of encouragement on the Wall of Hope, a tribute installation complemented by a floral pink-ribbon, created in collaboration with Only Roses.
On Friday, 23 October, Pink Fest will bring the community together for a 5K Community Run at 7:30 AM, in partnership with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), supporting its Hope for Cure cause, with QR codes available for those wishing to contribute through donations. The day will also feature a dedicated Mat Workout Session, inviting visitors to embrace wellness and show their support for Pink October. Participants in the Mat Workout Session must register through the Blue Rewards app and will receive a special gift.
The spirit of Pink Fest continues throughout October, with participating tenants Nando’s, Spark Sense & Play, L’ETO Caffe, Damas, Lush, Exit 55, Gold Apple, Carluccio’s and Salam Store offering a range of initiatives, from special discounts and complimentary gifts to charitable contributions.
