Banyan Tree Doha Partners with Life Skills Hub to Champion Inclusive Hospitality

Banyan Tree Doha proudly announces a meaningful partnership with Life Skills Hub (LSH), a Qatar-based organization dedicated to supporting children and young adults with diverse needs. Through structured social, vocational, and therapeutic programming, LSH equips participants with the confidence and skills they need to actively participate in their communities and transition into meaningful adult lives.

This collaboration marks a shared commitment to creating more inclusive environments, empowering individuals through structured experiences that build confidence, independence, and real-world skills.

The partnership officially commenced with a Community Cooking Class at IL Galante Restaurant, Banyan Tree Doha, welcoming young adults to engage in a guided culinary experience alongside the hotel’s team. Designed as a supportive and interactive session, the initiative provided participants with an opportunity to develop practical skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

This first activation is part of a broader, long-term collaboration between Banyan Tree Doha and Life Skills Hub, which will continue throughout the year. Upcoming initiatives include a Summer Camp program, offering structured pool and activity sessions, as well as a Coffee Shop Takeover vocational program, where participants will receive training and hands-on experience in a live hospitality setting.

Through these programs, the partnership aims to go beyond awareness — creating meaningful pathways for personal development and future employment opportunities, while reinforcing Banyan Tree Doha’s commitment to community engagement and inclusive hospitality.

Commenting on the initiative:

“At Banyan Tree Doha, we believe hospitality goes beyond service — it is about creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and empowered. This partnership reflects our commitment to making a positive impact within our community, and we are proud to support Life Skills Hub in this journey.”

Paris Aktypis, General Manager, Banyan Tree Doha

“At Life Skills Hub, we believe every young adult deserves the opportunity to participate fully in their community. Partnering with Banyan Tree Doha brings our participants into a world-class environment where they can build real skills, gain confidence, and be celebrated for exactly who they are. This is what inclusion looks like in action.”

Nicole Jean Alexander, Chief Operating Officer, Life Skills Hub

As the collaboration evolves, both organizations aim to build a sustainable model that can inspire greater inclusivity within the hospitality industry, setting a benchmark for meaningful community partnerships in Qatar.
