Visit Qatar has concluded the 2026 edition of Brouq, its signature desert activation, following strong engagement from residents and visitors throughout the winter season. Running for 77 days until 10 February, Brouq welcomed 61,121 attendees, reaffirming its position as one of Qatar’s most popular outdoor attractions during the winter period.
Set against Qatar’s desert landscape, Brouq delivered a diverse programme combining adventure, culture and live entertainment. The Desert Escape Zone emerged as a key highlight, featuring the 25-metre Adventure Tower, one of five new activation areas introduced this year, alongside a zipline experience, open-air dining areas and a continuous programme of live performances.

The Film City zone offered a rich cultural experience, bringing together falcon photo opportunities, henna art, traditional and musical performances, alongside storytelling sessions hosted across the site. Across the activation 539 activities and workshops were delivered, with strong emphasis placed on family engagement through dedicated children’s programmes, including puppet shows, face painting and caricature classes, ensuring an accessible and engaging experience for younger audiences.
The 2026 edition also introduced new activation areas, including the Sunset Lounge, Brouq Wildlife Reserve, Mini Safari Cars and the Family Majlis, further expanding the breadth of experiences on offer. The activation was supported by 24 food and beverage and retail vendors.
Visit Qatar remains committed to developing high-quality activations that enrich domestic tourism, encourage repeat visitation and strengthen Qatar’s year-round events calendar.
