Meryal Waterpark will host the opening race of the Qatar Islands Aquathlon Series, organised by QTRI Club, on Saturday 7 February 2026, at Qetaifan Island North. This marks the third consecutive year that Meryal Waterpark hosts the QTRI Aquathlon, reaffirming its role as a leading destination for major sporting and community events in Qatar.
