Over 700,000 Tickets Sold as Qatar Prepares for a Spectacular FIFA Arab Cup 2025™

With just days to go before kickoff, Qatar is set to host a vibrant and highly anticipated second edition of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025™. The tournament will run from December 1 to 18. The Local Organising Committee confirmed during a press conference in Doha on November 29 that over 700,000 Arab Cup tickets have already been sold, reflecting the tournament’s immense regional popularity.

According to LOC CEO Jassim Al Jassim, the response has been overwhelming. Of the 700,699 tickets sold, an impressive 210,209 tickets were purchased by fans outside Qatar. This reaffirms the Arab Cup’s strong regional following. Supporters from Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia currently lead ticket sales for group stage matches.

Massive Media Interest and Global Coverage

This year’s edition has also drawn significant attention from the broadcast and media industry. A total of 3,861 media personnel have applied for accreditation, including 2,085 from outside Qatar. In addition, 15 regional and international broadcasters will operate from Qatar’s studios while other channels have acquired rights to air matches across the region.

The media demand reflects not only excitement for the competition but also the growing stature of the Arab Cup within global football.

Free Doha Metro Access for Ticket Holders

Organisers confirmed that Doha Metro will be free of charge for all ticketholders on match days. All six tournament venues are connected by Qatar’s modern and efficient metro and rail system, allowing fans to travel easily and comfortably.
